An established local telecommunications company is seeking a Facilities Technical Engineer to join its Facilities team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily site inspections, preventative maintenance, and the management of critical systems such as alarms and fire suppression, security, and power distribution. They will liaise with contractors, ensuring those with critical area access are correctly authorised. Above all, respond swiftly to any technical issues, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Applicants should have experience working in a critical equipment environment, with solid knowledge of data centre systems, power distribution, and fire/security systems and ideally experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems.
