The successful candidate will support the preparation of financial statements and ensure the integrity of client accounting records. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented part-qualified accountant with a strong understanding of trust structures and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
⭐ Prepare financial statements for trust and company structures
⭐ Maintain and audit computerised accounting records (e.g. NavOne, Excel)
⭐ Liaise with auditors and support year-end audit processes
⭐ Review trust documents, minute books, and statutory records
⭐ Investigate and resolve accounting queries and support exception reporting
⭐ Support the training of colleagues by sharing technical knowledge
What you’ll need:
⭐ Part-qualified accountant or studying towards ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
⭐ Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial statement preparation
⭐ Familiarity with Guernsey’s regulatory and fiduciary environment
⭐ Experience with NavOne, Excel, and document management systems is a plus
