Skipton International Limited is seeking a talented Management Accountant to play a key role within our Finance Team. This is a high-impact position, leading on the production of management accounts, financial and regulatory reporting, and supporting senior leaders with insightful analysis, budgets, forecasts and strategic decision-making. You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team with strong governance at its core, contributing to the smooth running of the wider Finance function while helping to drive continuous improvement and best practice across reporting, controls and risk management. ​ Key Accountabilities Lead the preparation, analysis and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, highlighting trends, risks and outliers to senior management. Ensure submission of all financial, regulatory and statutory returns in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Produce high-quality management information, KPI packs and reporting to support business performance monitoring and decision-making. Lead regulatory and group reporting, ensuring compliance with financial services regulations. Support the development, monitoring and control of budgets and forecasts in partnership with senior stakeholders. Contribute to the preparation of ICAAP, Corporate Plan and Reverse Stress Test documentation. Support balance sheet risk monitoring and adherence to Treasury Policy. Review work produced by other Finance team members, providing guidance, training and coaching where appropriate. Continuously assess and enhance management information and reporting processes. Maintain robust governance, controls, procedures and documentation across the Finance function. Deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders while championing Skipton's values, behaviours and customer outcomes. Actively support change, continuous improvement and personal development. ​ Requirements Essential Qualifications Strong GCSE/A-Level results Qualified or part-qualified member of a recognised professional body (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA) Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting, audit or finance role Proven track record of owning and delivering high-profile outputs to a high standard Experience working within structured processes, controls and reporting frameworks Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial services regulation Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards and regulatory requirements Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and deliver quality work to deadlines Desirable 1-2 years' post-qualification experience Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders Experience in budgeting and forecasting, capital adequacy assessment and ICAAP Exposure to internal and/or external audit Experience reviewing, improving or implementing finance processes and reporting ​ If you're looking to develop your career within a professional, values-driven organisation where your expertise will make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
