Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support transactional and administrative finance activities. The position focuses on ensuring accuracy, efficiency and smooth delivery of finance processes. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment activities in line with procedures. Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Assisting with reconciliations and routine accounting tasks. Supporting the preparation of reports and finance-related information. Assisting with the preparation of internal presentations and finance updates. Responding to finance-related queries from internal teams and suppliers. Using finance systems and tools to support day-to-day operations. Providing general administrative support to the finance team. Supporting process improvements and new ways of working. Assisting with technology-driven initiatives including automation and reporting tools. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar administrative or finance-related role and be comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment. They will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a methodical approach to their work, along with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. A basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping principles is beneficial, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful individual will be proactive, reliable and interested in developing their finance knowledge and technical skills.
