We are searching for an adaptable and proactive Operations Assistant to join our client’s esteemed and efficient Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless running of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations within a forward-thinking and innovative environment. Based in St Peter Port, Guernsey, this role is integral to delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients while supporting key operational activities. Key Skills Required Vendor and Partner Relations: Confidently establish and maintain productive relationships with vendors and partners to ensure smooth operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Utilise tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook efficiently to manage operations and administrative tasks. Organisational Strength: Displays exceptional time management and prioritisation skills, adeptly overseeing multiple tasks and schedules. Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic work environment by embracing flexibility to meet changing business requirements. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with both colleagues and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives. What You’ll Do Support space management and facilities elements during employee onboarding. Assist in maintaining health and safety compliance, ensuring a secure and efficient workspace. Manage key operational services including maintenance, catering, and front-of-house client experiences. Collaborate with the Business Development team to deliver successful client events. Proactively identify, report, and resolve operational or safety issues. What You’ll Need Confidence to act as Deputy for the Assistant Operations Manager when needed. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting. Basic understanding of building systems (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC) is desirable. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to address and resolve queries. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations is an advantage. Why Join?
