Our client is seeking a B2B Account Manager based in Guernsey who will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with a diverse range of business customers. These customers include government departments, large enterprises, and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service, driving revenue growth, and supporting our client's mission to facilitate the transition to renewable energy. As a trusted advisor, the Account Manager will ensure that the solutions provided meet clients’ operational and sustainability goals while effectively addressing their varied needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in strategising and executing plans tailored to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty within the market. Job Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for all Guernsey business accounts, including government, corporate, and SME clients. Build strong, long-term partnerships by understanding client objectives and challenges. Deliver tailored renewable energy solutions that align with customer requirements and compliance standards. Achieve individual and team B2B sales targets within the Guernsey market. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximise revenue. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools. Develop strategic account plans for key Guernsey business customers, outlining growth and retention strategies. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Pricing teams to deliver competitive solutions tailored to local market needs. Monitor account performance and adjust strategies based on market trends and client feedback. Champion initiatives that enhance the B2B customer journey and improve overall experience. Resolve client issues promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with company standards. Gather insights to inform product development and service improvements. Track and report on account performance, KPIs, and client satisfaction metrics. Ensure adherence to regulatory, financial, and ethical standards in all interactions. Job Requirements Proven experience in B2B account management or sales within the energy, utilities, or related sectors. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with business clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making. Knowledge of Guernsey market dynamics and regulatory environment is highly desirable. Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle.
