Trust Manager

Lead a high-performing fiduciary team while managing a portfolio of client relationships within a professional services environment. This role offers a blend of leadership, client delivery and operational oversight. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Managing and leading a team of relationship managers and administrators. Delegating and overseeing day-to-day operational activities, including cash management, discretionary decisions and record maintenance. Monitoring and reviewing investment portfolios and client structures. Acting as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients and intermediaries. Identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling. Providing management information and reporting to senior leadership. Attending management meetings and contributing to operational improvements. Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Monitoring billing, utilisation targets and timely invoicing and collection of fees. Managing aged debtors and ensuring follow-up actions are completed. Setting objectives, conducting appraisals and supporting team development. Providing training, guidance and effective delegation of work. Supporting audit processes and maintaining high compliance standards. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, CGI or ACCA and demonstrate strong experience within offshore trust and company administration. They will have proven experience managing a team, meeting billing and cash collection targets, and delivering high levels of client service. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the Guernsey regulatory environment. The successful individual will be commercially aware, proactive and capable of building and developing client relationships, with the flexibility to travel when required.
