This is a pivotal position within a regulated business, responsible for ensuring robust compliance and risk management practices. Operating at senior level, the role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in regulatory matters. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Acting as Compliance Officer and MLCO for the business. Managing and delivering the compliance monitoring programme. Conducting sanctions monitoring, audits and investigations. Preparing periodic reports for the Board and governance committees. Monitoring regulatory developments and recommending required actions. Supporting updates to policies, procedures and compliance frameworks. Delivering compliance training across the business. Leading projects relating to regulatory change and new business initiatives. Supporting risk assessments, including AML/CTF frameworks. Managing and developing members of the compliance team. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have strong experience within compliance at Manager level, ideally within funds or private wealth. They will hold, or be working towards, a relevant qualification such as the ICA Diploma and demonstrate a solid understanding of the regulatory framework. Experience in financial crime risk, governance and compliance monitoring is essential, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
