Our client is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator with proven experience in trust and company administration. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients and understanding their specific administrative needs. The Senior Trust Administrator will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop trainees and other trust administrators. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective administration and communication within the team and with clients. Key duties include the preparation of statutory records, payments, written correspondence, and compliance records. The role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where adherence to compliance and regulatory standards is paramount. The candidate will also assist with periodic client reviews and maintain accurate client billing. This is a full-time position. Job Duties Administration of a portfolio of clients while keeping the Client Group Manager informed of ongoing activities Preparation of statutory records and payments Drafting written correspondence and bookkeeping of administrative transactions Processing compliance records and assisting with periodic client reviews Filing of client records and liaising with clients and third parties Managing client billing and handling telephone inquiries with confidence Understanding fundamental bookkeeping techniques and financial record-keeping Organising workloads for themselves and trainees to ensure deadlines are met Recognising problems and areas of difficulty at an early stage Communicating effectively with colleagues and senior management Maintaining knowledge of trust and company administration practices, compliance, and regulations Mentoring Trainee Administrators and providing guidance on daily tasks Job Requirements Qualified/part qualified or willing to pursue a professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, ACCA, or ACA Proven experience in a trust accounting or administrative role Enthusiastic with strong time management and organisational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mentality Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with ability to adapt to various IT systems
