Deputy Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to assist our Care Manager and lead our committed team in the day to day running of our 13 bedded nursing EMI unit specialising in Dementia Care. This role is paramount to ensuring a high quality of care is continued 7 days a week by taking charge of the Home over the weekend in the absence of the Care Managers. Therefore, the role is Friday to Monday. This will require excellent communication with the Care Managers to work as team. The successful candidate needs to be a NMC Registered Nurse, Band 6 or above. Applicants will need to adopt a person-centred ethos and be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities. A minimum of one year's management experience is desirable. The successful candidate will be required to oversee the running of all units within the Home in the absence of the Care Managers. The position is fulltime, working a 40 hour week.
