Our client is seeking a highly efficient, professional, and friendly Receptionist to join their team in Guernsey. This permanent, full-time position is pivotal to the operations of the office, where you will provide excellent customer service through telephone calls, emails, and in-person interactions. As the face of the organisation, you will ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors. The role also involves supporting the Customer Operations team with various administrative duties. You will be responsible for greeting clients, visitors, and guests, determining the purpose of their visit, and directing them to the appropriate contacts within the office. Additionally, you will arrange travel and taxis as required, manage meeting room bookings, and prepare meeting packs under the direction of the Senior Executive Assistant. Job Duties Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct them appropriately. Arrange travel and taxis for business and clients as required. Organise lunch and refreshments for the leadership team when necessary. Manage the booking of meeting rooms, ensuring they are set up accordingly for visits from clients and senior executives. Prepare meeting packs under the direction of the Senior Executive Assistant. Provide administrative support to the Customer Operations team. Job Requirements A-C in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent experience (a Banking Certificate is a bonus). Excellent communication skills. Experience in dealing with customers and managing customer dissatisfaction. Experience in learning new products quickly. Knowledge of banking products and services; experience with T24 and TCIB is an advantage.
