CSP/Administration, Trust Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to take responsibility for a designated portfolio of trusts and corporate structures. This full-time position is based in Guernsey and reports to the Trust Manager. The successful candidate will complete all assigned tasks and processes while operating within the controls, guidelines, and procedures established by the directors and managers, including the training and development of junior members when required. Job Duties:

Maintain a good understanding of trust and corporate regulatory requirements Become familiar with the team’s existing allocated client portfolio Provide quality day-to-day service for the team’s client portfolio Proactively work with internal individuals and groups to ensure timely delivery of client data Resolve queries and find solutions efficiently Adhere to the organisation’s internal practices and procedures Comply with internal regulatory procedures consistently Manage and record own time effectively to focus on chargeable hours Responsible for cash collection and control of debtors for own clients and guide administrators/senior administrators Understand and be proactive regarding client acceptance procedures and associated risks Prepare for and attend client meetings, following up on action points Produce proficient, accurate, and timely written communications Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional manner with external and internal clients/colleagues Communicate effectively and concisely with clients and team members, both by telephone and face-to-face Take responsibility for ongoing self-development Work on agreed training requirements and performance goals to ensure continued growth Consult with and escalate issues and exceptions to the Associate Director/Manager when necessary

Job Requirements:

A minimum of three to four years of relevant experience A relevant qualification, such as ICSA or STEP Diploma A commitment to a career in trust and company administration Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level Strong focus on providing quality client service Team-oriented with flexibility to change and meet the needs of the business Analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to work in a deadline and volume-driven environment while maintaining accuracy Skills in driving and executing tasks and encouraging others to do the same Eagerness to learn new skills and assist others in learning Capacity to prioritise and focus on urgent and important tasks Experience in planning and monitoring workloads, successfully delegating, and checking the work of administrators/senior administrators to achieve goals within expected timescales A proven academic record
