Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing routine administration and following Manager instructions.
  • Effecting client banking transactions accurately.
  • Applying client take-on procedures and understanding associated risks.
  • Becoming familiar with the team's allocated client portfolio.
  • Ensuring quality day-to-day service delivery.
  • Understanding trust and corporate regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintaining professionalism with clients and intermediaries.
  • Working proactively with internal teams to deliver client data.
  • Resolving queries and identifying practical solutions.
  • Adhering to internal policies and procedures.
  • Recording and managing chargeable time effectively.
  • Managing cash collection and debtor control where applicable.
  • Producing accurate written communications.
  • Taking responsibility for self-development.
  • Motivating and supporting junior staff.
  • Meeting training and performance development goals.
  • Escalating issues to senior colleagues when required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' trust administration experience and be studying toward a professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA. They will be accurate, analytical and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills, a commitment to excellent client service and the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively are essential.
