Compliance Our client is seeking a Senior CDD Analyst to provide high-level support in the provision of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) services to the business. This full-time role involves reviewing and assessing all relevant client CDD documentation submitted as part of new business applications and trigger events, ensuring compliance with CDD/Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) obligations in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will ensure turnaround times are met, manage workloads effectively, and support other team members in training and regulatory matters. Job Duties: Assist in ensuring the CDD Team operates effectively, bringing any issues to the attention of the CDD Manager. Maintain the CDD Team’s email box and order books, overseeing workloads and turnaround times. Make recommendations for improvements in processes and procedures. Undertake training of existing and new team members and provide support when required. Liaise directly with private clients/intermediaries to expedite the CDD process as necessary. Review CDD and EDD documentation for new accounts, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Review CDD and EDD documentation for trigger events, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met. Conduct electronic verification searches on individuals and entities to identify potential high-risk indicators. Review all third-party and related party payments, requesting CDD documentation and making decisions as necessary. Carry out checks on work undertaken by other team members. Assist with remediation projects as required. Ensure standard procedures are followed and checklists are completed with appropriate notes. Stay updated on process changes and developments in relevant software functionalities. Take ownership of allocated procedures, ensuring timely updates in response to process changes. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CDD specific role. Solid understanding of CDD in a wealth management or similar industry. Experience in creating and handling a variety of structures. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to rapidly learn and develop a working knowledge of Avaloq. Strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory handbooks. Ability to stay abreast of CDD regulatory changes and implement them in work. Strong ability to understand and apply regulations across different jurisdictions. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Capability to assess risks and make informed, risk-based decisions. Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
