Compliance Our client is seeking a temporary Periodic File Reviewer for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will perform AML file reviews and customer risk assessments for Corporates, Trustees, and individuals across a range of insurance products. They will ensure that standard and enhanced AML/CFT/PF due diligence measures are conducted according to the risk level, whether as part of trigger event processing or scheduled periodic reviews. Job Duties: Perform, understand, and analyse corporate structures, conducting relevant research and utilising investigation tools as part of scheduled reviews. Handle Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing matters within various regulated environments, completing file reviews for low, standard, and high-risk policies to ensure Customer Due Diligence (CDD) is current. Review policies and documentation to ensure compliance with AML procedures and localised process documents. Provide risk-based quality checks and AML controls on activities concerning Corporates, Trustees, and individual customers. Ensure due diligence controls are adopted, conducting enhanced due diligence as necessary during trigger event processing or scheduled reviews. Conduct AML/CFT/PF reviews of individual customers, based on presented or existing documents, relevant research, and investigation tools. Manage client contact related to AML reviews and determine or validate risk profiles as part of the review process. Adhere to AML, due diligence, and anti-fraud controls, referring to MLRO / DMLRO / MLCO as appropriate. Identify and update customer profiles where necessary and escalate data, documentation, or evidence gaps to the appropriate teams. Provide management information regarding the progress of reviews performed. Request or perform initial customer contact to obtain further information or documentation. Store evidence of reviews performed according to defined procedures. Work collaboratively with Compliance, Operational, and Regional teams to ensure service delivery remains consistent across all business lines. Attend to personal development by keeping aware of regulatory updates and completing internal and external training sessions. Job Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Results-focused mindset, driven by quality and deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. A strong mindset for continuous improvement. Capability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across multiple regions. Exceptional communication skills. Experience within the finance industry with knowledge and experience of CDD/AML requirements. Certificate/diploma in relevant subjects is advantageous. Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements. Experience in customer risk assessments and reviews. Proficient in Microsoft365, Adobe, and website management.
