We're looking to recruit a detail-focused Finance Officer to maintain Guernsey Post's purchase ledger, process invoices and payments, and reconcile accounts. You will also contribute to initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, streamline processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function.
This role is essential to keeping Guernsey Post's financial operations accurate, efficient, and effective. You'll be part of a supportive team, working collaboratively to maintain high standards while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Intermediate level of knowledge of Excel.
- Experience of an Accounts system.
- Basic level of other Microsoft Office products.
- A methodical approach with good attention to detail.
- Good Communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Bookkeeping knowledge and experience
Hours of work: 36 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.
