We are currently recruiting for a housekeeper, a role which is primarily cleaning and laundry duties but also additional tasks including drinks service and table service when required.
Pays £17.66 an hour working 30 hours a week, core hours 7.30am-2pm with some evenings and weekend work, all planned in advance.
You'd be an important part of a small team working together to maintain the household on a day to day basis and when entertaining visitors. There is some requirement for independent thinking and flexibility in your approach to work but it's a very friendly and well organised team and it is a really lovely job.

Government House is the official residence and offices of the Lieutenant-Governor of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. As well as being a home to the Lieutenant-Governor and their family, it is also used as a facility for hosting visiting dignitaries, including members of the Royal Family, Ministers of the UK Government and visiting Heads of State and Ambassadors from all over the world. The estate is also used to entertain islanders from all sections of the community attending a wide variety of events and functions in the house and grounds.
