We have an exceptional opportunity to join our client, a leading name in the Financial Services sector, as a Senior Onboarding Administrator. Based in St Peter Port, Guernsey, you will play a pivotal role in welcoming new clients and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. This is a critical position that will allow you to showcase your expertise in client onboarding while collaborating with key stakeholders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing documentation from potential clients, liaising directly with clients and introducers to compile query sheets.
- Completing comprehensive onboarding procedures in compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Constructing risk profiles, risk reviews, and minutes for onboarding and committee meetings.
- Setting up trusts, incorporating companies, and preparing requisite documentation.
- Managing bank account applications and liaising with banks and other financial services providers.
- Maintaining and updating in-house databases, registers, and ensuring data accuracy.
Skills & Competencies
- Industry Experience: At least 3 years as a Senior Administrator in financial services with a focus on onboarding potential new business.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of AML/CFT/CPWMD regulation, Guernsey Trust & Company Law, and the GFSC Handbook.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Organisational Ability: Strong time management skills to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and handle competing priorities.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Confidence: Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
