A well-established construction company is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Major Works division. This role will provide commercial support to project teams, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with contractual requirements, and maximisation of profitability. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and manage cost/value reports, forecasts, and cash flow. • Oversee subcontract tendering, negotiation, and financial accounting. • Liaise with clients and third parties on variations, claims, and additional payments. • Ensure robust contract terms and manage commercial risks. • Build and maintain strong client relationships. • Mentor and support less experienced team members. • Uphold company health and safety policies at all times. Skills and Experience Required • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (MCIOB). • Working towards RICS membership. • Extensive experience in quantity surveying within large-scale projects. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
