Be part of a busy and supportive accounts team where no two days are the same! This varied role covers everything from distributing loan funds to customers and managing supplier payments, to reconciling accounts and compiling reports for management and external governing bodies.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
  • Supporting the accounts team with reconciliations, payments, and reporting.
  • Preparing data and reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Using systems such as Sage, Excel, and company databases to process and manage information.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues by phone, email, and in person.
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative and finance-related tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' accounts experience and, ideally, working knowledge of Sage. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, are essential. This role would suit someone detail-oriented, organised, and confident managing both internal data and external customer queries. A proactive, self-motivated approach and strong interpersonal skills will be key to success in this full-time, office-based position.
