Trust Our client is seeking an Assistant Trust Manager to take administrative responsibility for a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures. This role involves delivering high-quality client service, identifying and mitigating risk, and supporting the management of a team through training and coaching. The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of client commitments and contribute to business development opportunities. Job Duties:
Manage a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures, ensuring first-class service. Provide technical and administrative support to the team, ensuring high standards of client service. Identify client needs, enhance service levels, and explore business development opportunities. Assist in managing the team by providing constructive performance feedback and supporting professional development. Conduct periodic performance appraisals for team members to facilitate their growth. Ensure client commitments are met to agreed deadlines and to a high standard. Identify and mitigate risk across the portfolio, escalating issues where necessary.
Job Requirements:
5-6+ years of experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex fiduciary structures. Proven ability to deliver excellent client service and manage technical and complex transactions. Strong technical knowledge of fiduciary structures and an awareness of industry developments. Experience in training and coaching team members to develop their skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA or similar). Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent. Commitment to maintaining Continued Professional Development (CPD) in line with qualifications.
