Full Time Contract Temporary
Accounting, Audit Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week, with the flexibility of hybrid working. The successful candidate will need to start as soon as possible and will play a key role in supporting management accounting, financial reporting, and audit processes.
Job Duties:
Manage all aspects of management accounting. Assist with financial reporting and budgeting processes. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes. Support the audit process, liaising with auditors as required. Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management. Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations. Process journal entries and reconciliations. Assist with tax compliance and preparation. Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Job Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Proven experience in management accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Experience in auditing is a plus. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
