Reference: HR13334 ### Key Responsibilities
The duties of this role relate to supporting the business as part of the business support team which provides technical and facility’s support across the group in both Guernsey and Jersey.
The role is based in Guernsey. The duties of this role include but are not limited to:
- Provide 1st level application support to users in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting I.T. issues across the business
- Escalate problems to senior support team as required
- Administration of user accounts & access changes / requests.
- Being responsible for supporting users with PC Hardware, MFD, peripherals and mobile devices
- Ensuring calls/tickets to business support are logged and kept up to date
- Setting up meeting rooms (video conferences and equipment required)
- Providing general facilities support
Qualifications and Experience
- Up to 2-3 year’s experience in helpdesk or equivalent role
- Experience with client PC connection (VPN, Ethernet and TCP/IP)
- Intermediate knowledge of MS office applications including Office 365
- Professional qualifications in Microsoft applications beneficial
- VMware, DMS and Veeam experience would be beneficial
- Working knowledge of Citrix & Xenapp environments
- Active Directory and Backups knowledge beneficial
- Knowledge of Microsoft server side tools an advantage
